I almost choked to death in Subway tonight. My sandwich was quite yummy; that wasn't it. See, whenever my family goes out in public, it's only a matter of time before we make a scene. We're just defective like that. So tonight, right as I took a drink, my mom said something funny. I must have breathed my pink lemonade because I was literally choking for a few minutes. I kept coughing for ages. Every time I tried to breathe between coughs, I would pull the liquid back in as I was simultaneously trying to force it out. Stupid malfunctioning epiglottis. I was terrified the whole time, though, because I could barely move and definitely couldn't breathe. That was our scene for the day.

In completely unrelated news, I checked today for an email address so I could find out how long it'll take for the St. Blog's button I made to be added to the Steal These Buttons database. While looking around, I stumbled across an article from the Guardian (a UK newspaper) called "20 Things Everyone Needs to Know." It was really useful. I hope I never have to know how to change a tire, but now I know a thing or two about how to use a tennis racket.

I also changed the stylesheet of this blog a bit and added a Scripture button in the "Hey, I'm Catholic!" section of the sidebar. I'm going to redesign the St. Blog's button next, give it some variations (yay for keeping the xcf), and submit them to Steal These Buttons and the St. Blog's directory. Why didn't anyone point out that it's hard to read? I'm pleased that people are using it (I've seen it around St. Blog's), but they should have one that's more reader-friendly.
