Being random is fun. So I want to be random tonight.

You know what's yummy? Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop-Tarts. They're the only kind I eat. I was walking to the computer room here with some M&M's, and then I smelled my dad's food from the living room and got a massive hankering for a Pop-Tart. Turns out he was eating chicken. Hmm.

For anyone who missed the PG autodialer, grad rehearsals are now Monday and Tuesday. I forget the exact times, so I plan to find out from someone later, but if you really need to know, call the school and ask for Ms. Franklin. She'd know. They moved them because the funeral for that boy who died is on Friday. I can't believe it, either. People suck sometimes. They do stupid things (meaning, of course, the killers, not the boy). I saw his picture in the Washington Post today. I don't recognize him, but it's a big school. It just shows how suddenly death strikes. Or, in this case, the total hatred and senselessness of his killers.

I'm a Terp, technically. So how come this cute, creative graphic doesn't make me feel any better about the cicadas? I still freak out whenever I go outside. It makes me feel so dumb. I don't care if they can't hurt me; they scare the bejeezus out of me!

The cartoon of today's "Family Circus" is so adorable. Kids are so cute sometimes. I'd link to it, but I can't find a static link online. The gist of it is this: Billy, 7, shows his bad report card to his dad. The caption says, "The good news is, I saved a bunch of money on car insurance." A few more words, and it would have been a free ad.

Federal loan interest rates are lower for this coming school year than they've ever been. So if you're like me and you need loans, check 'em out. Uncle Sam might be a greedy so-and-so sometimes, but other times, he's pretty cool.

Is it just me, or does the premise of the WB's new show, Summerland sound a lot like Everwood? And Raising Helen? I watched part of it, but then I got bored and came online.

Such an interesting life I lead, no?
