It's late. I'm going to bed shortly, but I wanted to blog first. I am so addicted to this thing, it's not even funny.
So. I didn't actually steal the rugrats' candy this year. Ryan did give me a fun size Crunch bar, though. My favorite. He's such a sweetie. It's so sad knowing he'll grow up and girls will at some point think he's an idiot. Sigh. He'll always be "Bud" to me.
I went out to... somewhere... to shop for a dress early this afternoon. I asked Mom if she'd take me tomorrow, but they have plans, so she took me today. We found a so-so outfit in Burlington Coat Factory, but then there were cute, relatively inexpensive dresses in JC Penney in the mall across the street. I found a cute black one that fits just right. I'll be stuck with my tottery black sandals, though. I'm just going to cross my fingers and hope I don't break a heel. Or fall down. Ugh. At least I'll look good as I careen toward the floor. :x
I came home and made a scrambled egg sandwich (another favorite, yum). Dad gave me a ride up the street to Megan and Stephanie's house. The part was really cool. Their basement is so much cleaner than when I was there at Christmastime last year. Penny is not in good shape, though. That's their dog; she's dying. She just looks so sad. I feel so bad for her. There weren't too many people there, which was good, because we were already yelling. Besides Meg, Steph, and myself, there was Angela, Meery, Sharis, Danelle, and Symian (whose name I can't spell). I was the first one there, but only because I live closest. We ate (even real food, Pasta Bake, not just party essentials like chips and cookies), talked, and played Catch Phrase. The three guys Danelle rode with stayed for a while, and Greg came by to pick me up. We went to see
Brother Bear. I haven't seen a Disney movie in a while, since I missed
Finding Nemo. It was funny and cute. Phil Collins music again, like in
Tarzan. (I still know the words to some of those songs. ::sings:: Put your faith in what you most believe in, two worlds, one faaaaaaaaamily...) Only the Indian spirituality reminded me of
Pocahontas. The Indians in this one are either Eskimo or Aleut; they live in Alaska. So anyway, go see it. It's Disney goodness.
And now I'm heading to bed. Much to do tomorrow. I'll be productive if it... okay, not if it kills me, but I need to quit being lazy and stressed out. As much as I can, anyway.
