Ugh. I've been away from the Internet for so long, it's not even funny. My email was backed up like you wouldn't believe. It's no fun to go through 68 messages to weep out the regular spam, college spam, and newsletter spam to find the good stuff. I got my power back Monday morning (if you consider 3am morning), but then the computer wouldn't turn on. So my parents took a while to find someplace to fix it, and the shop was backed up anyway, so we might have it back by Monday.

On top of my lack of Internet, the cable is out downstairs, and Comcast can't come out to look at it until Wednesday. That gives me about zero to do. Except go to the library, which is where I am now, to do research and check my email. Boredom is incomprehensible until you start to lose access to all the things that used to occupy your time.

I'd catch you all up on the last two weeks (!), but that would take eons, and the library's busy on Saturdays, so I'm going to get kicked off the computer eventually. It's like being at home, only worse.

I miss you all, and promise to update as soon as I can. I'll be doing some serious blog-hopping when my computer comes home.
