Went out to see Tops in Blue last night on Bolling. The Air Force Talent Show winners all compete to be part of Tops in Blue, which is a very cool performance team. They get a year off from their normal job to perform at bases all over the world. There are always really good singers and dancers and instrumentalists, and they get people to do the techie stuff, too. Last year, there was a guy from my mom's work back in Germany.

We went out to eat at this restaurant in Virginia near Hoffman called Chicken Out. I thought the food was great, but that's considering a week of camp food. It was just too rich, though, so I couldn't finish. I have to ease back into good food.

I slept wonderfully last night. In my own bed, and until 10:30am. Ah, the simple joys of being home in the summertime. Then I got up and dressed and online to finish transcribing my journal entries. I just finished putting them up on uJ. In the meantime, I have been IM'ing Greg, and briefly, Raychel. Did anyone else ever notice that AIM auto-formats screen names? You just need the numbers and letters in the right order, but the capitalization and spacing don't matter. That's handy.

I can still feel my meal bracelet, even though I cut if off last night (after some not-to-good convos with Greg). I know about phantom limbs, but this is ridiculous. I don't feel my watch like that.

So much to do, so freakin' little time to cram it all in. And for the first time in recent memory, my room actually needs cleaning. Not just straightening up, but like an actual sorting and throwing-away session. But I'm hungry now. I can look at a messy room for a while. My stomach will not wait.
