Woah. Major blogging needed. To begin, the weather. It started snowing late Friday night/ early Saturday morning, and continued all day. The ground is currently blanketed with about two feet of snow. This is the worst blizzard the area's had in a long time -- we're on national news. (Only this time, it's not the Sniper.) School is canceled for tomorrow, but the federal government offices are closed as well, which means I'll be stuck in here with my whole family for another day. On the plus side, I can spend some time on school-related things that I should have been doing and have been avoiding. ::chastises self::
I joined a few more fanlistings, as you can see: Avril Lavigne, Vanessa Carlton, and Michelle Branch. I figured I couldn't five guys and no girls to balance it out. And it fills up some of the empty space.
My new, lovely relationship with Greg is progressing nicely. He called me yesterday while I was finishing watching "Save the Last Dance" (got it on DVD for Christmas... awesome movie... wonder if it has a fanlisting...), and we talked for two hours. Unfortunately, our electric wiring is wonky lately; I had to sit in the living room cause the power was out in my room, making it cold and dark. He called again today, and we talked for another 5 hours. (!) At one point, we were watching the TRL Awards on MTV; he sighed when I swooned over *NSync (specifically, Lance), and I sighed when he insisted on calling Britney Spears names that I won't repeat. It was great, though. You think we'd run out of things to talk about, but I suppose that our pre-relationship marathon IM convos disprove that. We talked for so long that my cell phone battery died. By the way, thank you all for the kind things you wrote in my guestbook. Go me, indeed. =) Our Caller ID record looks insane; Greg's number is on it about six times. I think my parents suspect, but they haven't said anything to me yet, and if they don't, I'm not going to. At least, not until I have to.
That's good for now. I can't really expect to catch up, per se, on the past few days, but c'est la vie. Hopefully, I will get everything done tomorrow, though I heard a rumor that neighborhood streets won't be plowed until Thursday... No! ::chastises self again:: Bad Procrastinator!Lindsay! You always get yourself into this position, and it's never comfortable. When will you learn? ::resolves to punish self some way that will stick ... maybe::
