Ooh. The first time I've actually remembered to check out the Friday Five, and they're questions about blogging. W00t.

1. Explain why you started to journal/blog.
While surfing on FictionAlley's message boards, I noticed that a lot of people had links to their "blogs" in their signatures. Out of sheer curiosity, I clicked on a link, and found Blogger. I thought it looked interesting, signed up a few days later, and have been blogging ever since. There's something almost therapeutic about writing out my thoughts, where I can see them, but other people can read them, too.

2. Do people you interact with day to day or family members know about your journal/blog? Why or why not?
Most of my friends know, read it, and have their own. My family has no idea, and I'd like to keep it that way for as long as possible.

3. Do you have a theme for your journal/blog?
Not really. I just write whatever comes to mind. The theme is "Linz", I suppose.

4. What direction would you like to have your journal/blog go in over the next year?
I would like to keep writing here as often as I do now, because I love it. I have kept a journal since the sixth grade, but this is the first time it's been public. (I still keep private journals, though: one online, one offline. What can I say? I love to write.)

5. Pimp five of your favorite journals/blogs.
Greg, Sims, Rajni, Mykella, and The Topics Blog. But I *heart* the rest of my blog-hopping buddies, too.
