My aunt is a talkative sort of person. I got up to answer the phone, and I wound up having a mostly one-sided conversation with her for about 20 minutes. Not that I don't like talking to her; I just can't keep up an interesting conversation with her for that long. She called to talk to me (not my mom, like she usually does), and I would've felt bad about making up a reason to hang up, so I am pretty much small-talked out today.
The stream of college mail has resumed. So far: Ohio State University, Carleton College (MN), McDaniel College (MD), Drexel University (PA), Washington University in St. Louis (MI), and Frostburg State University (MD). At that's not counting the stack from last year. Why does college searching have to be so difficult?
Heard on the radio this morning about
the Space Shuttle Columbia explosion. So horrible. There have only been two major U.S. space shuttle catastrophies ever: the Challanger back in the 80's, and a fire on one of the Apollo missions. But nothing has happened on re-entry before. And the first astronaut from Israel was on board. I only hope that we can avoid things like this in the future.
Seriously considering a career plan change. Especially after seeing "hot male celebrity's professional raper" on
someone's list. [You know who you are... mind sharing? ;)] But seriously, I am losing interest in engineering lately. That may or may not have something to do with Mark. (Don't take it personally.)
Boys. Grr. Sigh. Ponder. Sigh again. Grr more. Resolution #7 is fast becoming one of those things that
seemed like a good idea at the time, but now seems
way too hard to live up to. Rawr. Hormones really suck sometimes.
Rajni has a pretty new layout. Love the tulips. Very romantic. Makes me want a new layout. Then I remember my limited HTML skills, and settle for just thinking about new colors. Maybe blues instead of purples. Could be interesting. I shall ponder it some more, for when I have some time to breathe.
