Nu-Way called to cancel my driving lesson for today. It was supposed to be at 3, so I did my usual lay-around-the-house-until-10-then-finally-get-dressed thing. (Yes, Andra, the dash-thingy is back.) At about 10:30 this morning, they called and asked to reschedule for 11:30. Today.
Who tries to reschedule with
an hour's notice? I could tell I wasn't going to be ready by 11:30, so he offered me another date. In November. What is wrong with these people? What's wrong with people in general? (Not you guys, of course. Other people.) I've only been out with them once, and that was earlier this month. At this rate, I won't be able to get my provisional license until February. *glares angrily at driving school staff*
And, to top it all off, I'm not really sure how to keep track of the time I spend driving with my parents. The handbook-thingy from MVA is thoroughly confusing. I went out with Mom last weekend, and I actually kind of enjoyed it. We went on new roads. (Well, I've been on them, but I've never
driven on them. I actually haven't driven that many places so far...) And
she didn't talk to me the entire time. I realize that you have to do a zillion things at once. Would it be
that hard to give me one less thing to do (listen to my dad)?
This concludes Linz's daily learning-to-drive-is-hard rant. Sigh.
P.S. I got all the questions on my Physics retake right, which should boost my grade a bit. I need all the grade-padding I can get at this point. =)
