To clarify (mostly for Andra's sake): When they give you a problem with a symbol like that, you just plug in the numbers. In my hastily-written example, you'd write the equation as (4+8)/(4-8), which is -3. Three would be one of the answer choices. It's really that simple. I think the symbol (like ยง) is just there to demonstrate how to apply mathematical symbols. Or to be annoying. Whatever.

Joining more fanlistings as I write this. I worked a little on my page layout, you can go look if you're interested. It's nowhere near where I want it, though. Soon. Spring break next week should give me a little extra time to work.

I found another CNN Health article yesterday, on sleep fatigue. Turns out severe sleep fatigue can actually kill you. After rating my sleepiness on the Epworth Sleepiness Scale, I've realized that I am tired. I keep dozing off at odd times. It used to just be every now and then on the bus -- it's so warm, and the humming from the motor lulls me to sleep all the time. My impromptu bus naps are always light, though. I usually wake up after a minute or two. Tonight, I almost fell asleep twice: once while starting the AP Physics B homework (test tomorrow, open notes, must take extras tomorrow), and once during Jeopardy! commercials. So I decided to try to get to bed earlier tonight. Which means I'll be headed to bed soon. Night.
